I am a full time working mother, I went back to work when my little guy was 6 weeks old. I am dedicated to providing him breastmilk for the first year, regardless of my work status therefore this pump is my saving grace. This pump is SOOO convenient, small, portable, great suction, expresses the most milk over other pumps, handsfree so I was able to bring it to work & pump in my office while I continued to type on the computer. Easy to assemble for each pumping session & disassemble for cleaning. I have several friends who just had babies & they are constantly complaining that the other breast pumps they purchased are difficult to use & dont have good suction so they rarely use them. Although this item is a little more expensive than others the little extra money makes it worth while. I have gotten my money's worth & then some! Since I purchased this product & gave birth, I've used this product every day for the past 8 months & it's still in fantastic condition. I'll definitely be using it for the next babies I have, by then I may have to replace parts but that will only cost about $30 total. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND this product! I am VERY pleased!

I have approximately 20 'pumping' friends with small babies right now. Everyone has various Medelas and they are all jealous of my super mobile and tiny Freestyle. It is amazingly portable (no plug in required like the back pack versions, you can pump one or both breasts at a time and the hands free set up lets you do it on the go (even in the car with a hooter hider!). If you are going to pump this is by far the best one out there. I had to go back to work early on and I've been able to continue exclusive breastfeeding until 6 months now because this pump is so convenient. I pack it in my bag with my laptop and books and go. If you can afford it...go for it :)

I went with the Freestyle over the Pump in Style Advanced because I was looking for something I could easily travel with. It's really convenient.
