Breastfeeding Advice that Every Mother Should Know
When it comes to breastfeeding, new mothers should know a couple of things before they can get started. The thing is, no matter how prepared you are, you can’t really know everything about breastfeeding until you try it.
Here are some things that every mother should know before they start breastfeeding.
Most new mothers think that their baby will not grow teeth until later on. It is a surprise that as early as three months old, babies can start teething already.
All breastfeeding stories and experiences are not the same. They are all very different from each other. If you are turning to other mothers for advice or suggestions on how to breastfeed better, you have to acknowledge the fact that what works for them, might not work for you. If they are using a certain breast pump, it might not work best for you. You still have to do your own research when it comes to purchasing the best breast pump.
Sore nipples or bleeding nipples are not normal. If you experience any discomfort, you should consult your doctor immediately before the problem gets worse.
Breastfeeding is not easy, at all. If one mother can give you a morsel of information about breastfeeding then this is one golden rule that you have to think of. No matter how hard it is, do it because it benefits you and your baby.
Pacifiers and feeding the baby formula milk can ruin your breastfeeding process. If you want to continue with your breastfeeding, do not substitute your breast milk with formula milk or pacifiers.
